Background

In 2005, Severn Wye Energy Agency and Gloucester County Council, along with other partners, wanted to break the negative cycle of ‘no demand – no supply’ in the wood chip heating market. So they applied for and won a Biomass Infrastructure Grant, to kick start the supply availability.

Success

We have established two depots and are winning contracts to deliver to customers who have installed wood chip boilers. Excellent feedback from our customers suggests that we are doing things right.
